Boot windows from syslinux vs grub9/23/2023 All I really do in Arch is write and compile code in C, write and run code in R and Octave, and use the internet. But I almost exclusively see other people using a /boot/ partition and sometimes a decent number more than that even. On my computer (dual boot with OSX, Macbookpro 9.2) I only have /home/, /root/, and SWAP space (with syslinux as bootloader). On a related note,I am wondering if anybody has any good and beginner-level resources for setting up partition tables. I currently use syslinux because that was what was used on the tutorial that I first used to install Arch, but I never hear of other people that use syslinux. After reading some of the documentation on the arch wiki for syslinux and systemd-boot, I'm still a little lost on how I should make the choice between syslinux and systemd-boot.
